Dr. Kao spoke at a webinar sponsored by Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City about Faith and Artificial Intelligence on November 2.
The title of her talk was “Encoded Inequity: Race, Faith, and Power in the Age of AI.” She enjoyed discussing several racial, cultural, and environmental implications of use of AI after first grounding these concerns from both an international human rights and progressive Christian frameworks.
