Dr. Kao served on a panel at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion (AAR) in Boston, MA in a session co-sponsored by the Asian North American Religion, Culture and Society Unit and the North American Religions Unit.
Her other panelists include Ki Joo Choi, Jonathan Tran, Daniel Lee, and Jessica Wai-Fong Wong.
Her other activities with Asian American scholars included reuniting with her Wabash intergenerational mentoring grant cohort at the Asian Theological Institute breakfast.
